3. METHODS OF MARKING AS TO TYPE AND SPEED. (BRITISH STANDARD MARKING SYSTEM)

4. METHODS OF STORAGE, HANDLING AND TRANSPORTING WHEELS.

5. METHODS OF TESTING AND INSPECTING FOR DAMAGE.

6. FUNCTION OF ALL COMPONENTS AND THE CORRECT METHOD OF MOUNTING AND BALANCING.

7. METHODS OF DRESSING AN ABRASIVE WHEEL.

8.THE ADJUSTMENT OF THE REST, GUARDING.

9. THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE REGULATIONS.


About the Abrasive Wheels Training Course This abrasive wheels programme was put together so staff will be aware of legislation relating to the use of abrasive wheels. Delegates will learn how to carry out routine maintenance checks and how to safely operate the abrasive wheels equipment. Who Should Attend an Abrasive Wheels Training Course? People who are required to use an Abrasive Wheel as part of their job or operatives who need to learn how to safely select fit and mount abrasive wheels and discs on portable machines. This abrasive wheels course will make sure delegates understand and are able to use an abrasive wheel safely on site. Abrasive Wheels Course Duration (This course is half a day. ) Abrasive Wheels Qualification ITSSAR accredited Certificate of Competence for Abrasive Wheels .
