MANUAL HANDLING

Tel: 07869 123 294

Manual handling accidents account for more than a third of all accidents reported each year to the enforcing authorities. The vast majority of reported manual handling accidents result in an over - three - day injury, most commonly a sprain or strain often of the back.

With the right kind of training for all members of staff in the best manual handling techniques, such injuries can be prevented and other musculoskeletal disorders can be minimised. Office based employees are at as much risk of a manual handling injury than any other employee.
